Wireless Charging Technology for Buses Named "Invention of the Year"
InductEV, a U.S.-based startup, has developed a wireless charging technology for electric buses that allows them to charge wirelessly along their routes. First introduced in 2017, this technology has recently become widely adopted across multiple states in the U.S. InductEV's system enables electric buses to charge at high speeds of up to 450 kW while stopping at designated locations, eliminating the need for large, costly batteries or extensive charging downtime.
